The Range Expander is an add-on to the Controller of the Active Tag system. It is used to increase
the coverage area for extended presence detection. The unit is simply connected between the Active
Tag Controller and its antenna, typically like on the image on the right.

The Range Expander is suitable for the entire range of INGECOM Controllers (RS232, RS485, Ethernet, WiFi, Wiegand, Modbus).
Used only with the Active Tags Read Only and Sensors. No extra firmware or software required.
The presence monitoring with one single unit over a very wide area opens the field to brand new applications. The installation cost drops
down to below 0.002¢ per square meter, which makes it hassle free for investment.
Health and safety is a major consideration. The Range Expander does not bring any extra radiation. It is believed to be totally harmless
to other adjacent electronic equipment, and to any consideration of health and safety.
